Hot rod paint on a ....
...sewing machine?!!!
Just got back from a major quilt show (my wife quilts so...) and wanted to share a picture with you all.
I've been shooting a NEX 7 with old glass and recently purchased a Nikkor 24mm f2.8 made in 1973 to try and get a little more 'natural' look out of my photos. Since it's a crop camera it was behaving like it had looonnng lenses on it when I'd put a 50mm on it. This 24 is working out just dandy IMO as I'm not finding a need to 'backup' to get most shots.
My wife has one of these old Singer Feather Weight sewing machines and I really liked the paint job one of the vendors at the show put on this one. I was practicing shooting sans flash and found most of the lighting a little challenging. This is straight out of the camera. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice capture, I'm noticing more sharpness on the left and above.

That is one crazy looking machine. What adapter are you using for the Nikkor lens?

Interesting...I never got used to losing my mother's old Singer Sewing Machine. They are work horse.

I'm using a Fotodiox adapter. I've got one for all my old glass now.
Too many lenses, so little time.
