Well spotted, Mark. The question is: are the noses or mouths? It looks like they could be bellowing at you - get that camera out of my face.
That's cool. Nicely spotted and captured.
Great shot Mark, you had to have been *bored* to have seen this. Second one down (on the zag) appears to have the most quizzical expression. I can see shot this hanging in a gallery easy.
So...the indentations, put there to keep the nuts from vibrating off? I see the bolts (profile) on the LHS have a groove down the threads where, I assume the indentations are?
Thanks Jack, We had some clouds this afternoon so I went for a walk. I was looking a electrical tower over for possible shots. I had just started to walk away when I spotted the bolts.
The tower is near the railroad tracks so they are (staked) to prevent them from loosening from the vibration.
Nicely captured.
Not sure if you are a nut case or should have made a bolt for it..
Very well captured.
Interesting and different Mark, well captured.
As for the technical merits and practice of locking nuts with centre-popping like this a good idea until you have to remove them
Very creative interpretation - reminds me of the 'phone' aliens-skit from Sesame Street
They resemble oink...oink...Mark. I love it!!
