    Brown Eagle

I'm very new to photography, but man do I love it. Snapped this shot this past weekend of a brown eagle, and while I like it, I'm definitely up for any constructive criticism. Thanks in advance all.

    Something missing here.

If you are having problems with uploading/linking images have a read of this

HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?

Many of us initially had problems with adding photos so if you have any specific questions just ask.

Also, most of us use our first name, or a nickname, etc; so that could be added to your profile.

I like the composition ... would have been nice if we can see a little bit more from lytebox...the clouds included is a bonus. Beautiful bird. I wonder why it is brown in colour...is it a different breed?

Nicely done. Maybe a bit more room on top than bottom would work better.

Izzie, it's a juvenile bird. Looks just like a juvenile bald eagle but may be a golden, not sure what they look like when young. Bald eagles don't attain their full color pattern until they are five years old. But the beak on this one looks awfully small which is characteristic of a golden. Then again the head looks like it's turning white. My vote is juvenile baldie.
