Helpful Posts: Went back to Amherst Island today with from friends from Picton to look for Snowy Owls. I met up with them shortly after lunch they had already been on the Island for 3 hours not seeing a single owl, as we drove up the road I was tailend Charlie guess what I spotted at the top of a tree. Their leader's phone was not on, so I turned off onto the side road, rolled down the window, stuck the camera out of it, and slowly drove closer taking shots as I went. Got pretty close however the winds were gusting up to 30mph and one such gust lifted her off.

Really a nice shot. Great position on the bird and a natural setting. My favorite so far. Nicely done.

Certainly it's cool that you were able to catch a snowy. Might be interesting to see some of your perched shots, if you got some.
