You are correct, Jeremy. First two are male bullfinch. The third is a male chaffinch.
They are both on the RSPB site but I appreciate that the fact they are there doesn't meant the are easy to find.

Jeremy, we all know birds.
There are basically two kinds of bird: the tree sit bird and the ground sit bird. The tree sit kind can all fly but some of the ground sit species cannot fly.
Simple as that!
Birds: I’ve got books and sound CD’s but it is SOOO difficult to identify them.
