    Spider's thread on a small Ash tree

    A week ago we had a beautiful winter day here in southern Sweden when this picture was taken close to lake Lygnern about 40 km south of Gothenburg. My only concern with the picture is that there should be a little bit more space above the small Ashes. What else can be improved?

    Try putting the image away for a few days and see how it feels to your eyes.

    I like this. At first glance I thought it was a water scene. It's a pity the shadow breaks the line of the web near the first branch. I might try to clone piece in there.

    Yes, I think it does need a bit more space at the top.

    For, me, that very out of focus right hand twig just adds confusion and distraction.

    I'm thinking the same thing. If you were to clone out that far right twig I think the symmetry would be perfect. And add a bit of canvas to the top as well. But a very nice shot.
