What amazingly beautiful eyes... However a vertical portrait crop might eliminate some distracting background...

Not just her eyes; also her hair!
I also love the background, as it makes the image somewhat of an environmental portrait. The tilted door frame adds character suggesting a child's role in her environment and goes so nicely with the informal nature of her hair and clothes.
The only minor change I can think of making is to tone down the brightest area in the upper right corner that seems to be the mat of a framed piece on the wall.
