Nice shot. Well composed and executed. Perhaps a bit bright in the highlights which is hiding some of the detail in the head. It could also use a bit of a boost in saturation. Well done.

Better but whatever you did still didn't bring out the detail on the head.
I lowered the exposure a bit, increased "clarity", increased saturation slightly, and selectively sharpened the head. Also tweaked the crop. Not better or worse but different. You decide what works for you.

nice pic and composition is well done, here as stated I would increase the saturation after playing with temperature and tint. It might be helpful to check brightness and contrast.Thank you for the lovely pic.

Kudos to the tag team here. Nice composure Barbara and I think Dan couldn't of done it better.
Being able to study the details of the feathers is what I love most about close up bird shots. Nice image indeed.
