Hello,
we're a married couple with the hobby of cosplay, photography, photo editing and traveling.
Recently we discovered the interest for photography and photo editing, but we come from a history of photographer relatives.

We're native of Italy but we currently live in The Netherlands.

Since for work often we travel, we like to take pictures around or we just enjoy the cosplay photography in the conventions.

Since we want improve our photography skills we arrived on this site where we found a lot of good advices.

Welcome to CiC Zel and Hoshi! Not being familiar with those names, I can't tell which would be the gal and which would be the guy. Do both of you shoot and post process images?

I'm looking forward to seeing your Cosplay convention images. It should be interesting!

I answer also for my husband, I'm Hoshi, while my husband is Zel.
About photos, usually we both take them, even if often that is a my husband job, since I'm the cosplayer.
For the photo editing, that's my field, since I'm an illustrator and designer, it's easier for me, cos I use similar programs.

About cosplay, well, usually we prefer take pictures in photo studios, or outside, since not always the conventions are good for lights and space, some of them are really crowded.
But sometime happen to take photos there, cos I usually I work in the events as exhibitor, so my husband is there to help me and also takes some shoots.

Here there are only recent pics or old images edited.
I sew costumes since 1998 and the first pictures were with film camera and not of good quality, so we avoided to post them.

As said we aren't professional photographers, so not all the pics are really good.

I guess the question would be that as you are joining Cambridge in Colour, what is it you are hoping to accomplish here? We have lots of folks that can help you improve your photographs, if that is what would work for you. Here is a link that you might find useful if you want to post images with the goal of getting helpful feedback.
