Hi Brian,
Are they breaking out of a cage, net? Not sure about this one concept wise, the lighting if fine, composition unique.
A cage or a prison or indeed simply the fetters that society creates. I am getting an urge to create a world in our garden. It would give my camera endless shots and my imagination infinite possibilities. Can a novel be written with only pictures and titles? Obviously I have too much time on my mind. Myra believes the shot would be better with just the eagle but I needed someone to prop him up.
It looks dragon leads the way to me. Pity that the mesh can't be blurred a little. It would be possible with GIMP focus blur but it would mean layers and brushes. You might be able to do that with a longer focal length if the distance is available. I've also manage do that by focusing short on film but it's not an easy thing to do.

Having seen so many of the same shots perhaps you could try something different
Now that works Brian as it helps lead the eye more to the subject.
But beware, you have now posted two images that are similar, it may be against forum guidelines
And while you are over there Brian you might as well take note of the lighting possibilities of a corner!
You have the potential of two directions of reflection. Or a BG and reflector. But be wary of the color of the walls. If they are not white you will most assuredly pick up some color cast.
Same can be reproduced using a couple of reflectors in a tabletop set, which again could be anything white. The corner doesn’t have to touch nor does it have to be a perfect 90*.
Hair shirt will follow!
It sure is a different world shooting indoors isn't it

I have put a little weight on of late best make it an extra large.
It is. Outside with insects or flowers there is an urgency as the light and the world moves on. Inside the urgency is to get it just right. Outside is very Zen in that I need to experience the shot as I take it. Inside is like becoming Lady Wisdom and helping with the creation.
Very heady stuff even just in a poor studio.
