    Awash in the morning light......

I need to start another thread with some questions regarding white balance in this sort of situation but for the moment, being short of time, I'll simply present this image for c&c.
    Thank you,
    Andrew

Beautiful colors and nice exposure. I'm not sure if you are elevated slightly (maybe on a dock), but I think I would prefer if the camera was a bit lower.

Very nice, wonderful light. I think the white balance for this image is fine - in the sense that it shows wonderful color that is at the same time quite plausible. Looking at the sky in the upper right and the oranges and purples of the sunset it seems like your cools are cool and your warms are warm and your foam is nicely neutral. I wouldn't think either warming or cooling this would improve it but assume you evaluated such effects during you PP. I would consider cropping a little sky to lift that horizon a little further from the center.

Nice capture, did the actual colors look more dramatic than what you captured?

Beautiful image. I absolutely adore the colours, naturally beautiful and reflected as is. Perfect WB in my mind.

It works really well for me. I especially like the muted tones (both cool and warm) in the sky.

I was standing on the beach timing the waves to not get my feet wet (water temp only just above freezing and air temp well below).

I think on this image the color distribution is fairly close to what I was seeing.

Thank you Mike and Christina; with this particular image I was reasonably happy with the balance.

Mark - I'll have a look at the crop you suggest.

Really a splendid picture, the colors are well balanced and I wouldn't adjust them as they seem just fine. Possible as suggested to crop the sky just a little to reduce the right side.
