    Eye for an eye

So this is my first attempt at macro/eye photography. I'm just glad my 6-year-old was able to hold still long enough for me to get any shot with his eyes open...

What kind of gear are you using...the eye itself doesn't look very crispy...hand held/tripod ?

    William,

I'm shooting a canon powershot sx50 hs - and where my boy probably needs strapped down (or Ritalin), I was unfortunately not using a tripod. I may have better luck with my teens, but their eyes don't seem as bright and lively anymore

I tend to agree not sharp enough, a slight move can make a difference, so check the gear for stabilization or tripod. Also if you used a flash the white spot in the eye detracts from what could have been a better reflection without a flash. Retake and adjust ISO, shutter speed so no flash is needed.Have fun!!!!
