Punta Cana

Just got back from a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I'm trying to edit these photos in a timely manner along with editing my massive backlog of 'ToDo' photos.

1. Got lots of nice flower pictures out there. This one is one of my favourites. Still working on the others.


2. Got real close to the water with my zoom lens. I thought the splash on the left side looked real neat. Some of my family didn't look too close and thought it was a shell on the beach.


3. Taken at Sunset after the only time it rained while we were there. The water was a beautiful colour and the beach was really calm after.


4. Also after the storm. I thought the rope made a neat piece in the picture so I tried to get a bit artistic with it. Took pictures of it from all different angles.


5. Also trying to get artistic here. I like the texture of the sand and the water in the photo.


Bonus Shot: Not a great shot. It was taken from the window of the plane before we took off from Toronto Pearson at 8am. I bought a new FujiFilm underwater camera so I kept it in my pocket the entire trip and used it whenever I didn't have my T3 (left the 70D home in-case). This shot was taken with the Fuji. It's a decent camera and took some nice underwater shots (still have yet to edit those).

Nice set Kyle. My favourites would be the small wave splash and the couple on the beach although the footprint is very nice as well. And I think your shot from the aircraft is the first image I've seen of a 737 fitted with Boeing's new scimitar split winglet so that's a bonus as well.

I am with the rope on the beach fan club too...and of course the bubble splash is neat. The lone foot print in the sand is also good. Nice job....!!

8. Egret - There are lots of those down there. They follow the cows around eating bugs off of them.
