Helpful Posts: Hovering just on the 0șc mark this morning but with a very strong biting cold wind - still I had to walk the youngest down to school so as I was already wrapped up it seemed rude not to take advantage of the sunshine.

On the other hand, you have no idea as to what "nippy out" really means. The water in your shots is still liquid, here in the Great White North it's solid enough now to drive pickup trucks on.

If this are the views you go through to walk your kids to school (#2), I'd love to trade places...
Also it has been quite sometime when I heard those words "It's nippy out." ... makes me smile. I think the last time was when my father in law was alive telling us all to bundle up before going to the lake and to stop annoying the black swans there in Baallarat. Over a decade ago, now the lake is no more, dried up by nature...and his boat burned and gone. Anyway, I am still intrigue as to what #3 is...I like the whole series especially #1.

Its not 'quite' the route we take to the school but very close. I shot these while taking the longer way home after dumping the bairn.
'Nippy out' is a good saying - one of my favourites, glad it brought back memories. The third shot is just a bit of old pipe washed up on the beach at hide tide. the way it was lying caught my eye as I guessed it would line up nicely with the sun rising.
