    Esty

Good day to you all. After all of your helpful comments on my previous images, I am going to take advantage of your kindness and post another image for your consideration. Thanks for looking.

    Re: Esty

Ernesto - you might want to look your initial post. I've inserted the full-size image, which makes it a lot more convenient for the members to see. If you wouldn't mind doing this in your future posts, that would be great.

You seem to be continuing with the same pattern of asymmetry as you did on your previous posts; space above the head and on the left hand side of the image. I would say it works better here, as there is enough subject (plants) matter to carry this off. You might want to look tightening up on the crop a bit (bring down the top and bring in the left), to see if it does anything for you, but really, this shot seems to work fine as it is.

I don't think your heavy-handed watermark adds to the image. Some people are totally against including these, but I find that if they are subtle and tasteful, one can get away with it. In this shot, it is quite distracting.

The other thing that I noticed is fairly minor, but when you pose someone amongst greenery, this tends to affect the skin tones a bit. I do see a bit of a green colour cast, that a minor tweak (add a bit of magenta) will clean up.

    Hi Ernesto,

May I suggest you have a read of at least the first post in this thread if you are seeking feedback?
How to Get Effective Feedback for your Posted Images

Also, your chances of attracting feedback will improve if you post the images larger, please see the TinyPic method (post #2) in this thread. HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?

Or, if you continue to attach them, please see the 'Part 2' section in post #4.

In respect of the latter, you can edit the post above and do Part 2 yourself (I did it for you in your last two picture posts). - Scratch that, Manfred has done it

    Thanks, Dave

I'm never keen on off centre portraits but yes I agree that in this case you have sharply focused leaves on the left which creates a balanced composition.

Possibly a fraction too much space at the top considering that she is looking downward. But not really a problem.

As a candid shot it seems fine and I agree the lettering on the left bottom are distracting. Nice color and sharpness.

I'm thinking that a different perspective might serve you better...get closer to her eye level.

Nicely exposed, a bit tight on the crop though.

Thank you all for your comments. In regard to the size of the image, I tried doing it differently, but I don't get an option to upload from the computer. I only get a space for the URL. That's the reason I have been attaching thumbnails--mere ignorance. I don't know how to upload an image. I went to the FAQ, but I didn't get it.

    Re: Esty

Ernesto - effectively that's what I've been doing. Copying the URL to the image in the space and that is what displays the full-size image.

Open up your original post and you can see the additional information I edited in.
