Very nice shots but unlike Bengy you didn't catch them flying, a sensible choice IMO
Very good shots James well done.
Dave
Great shots, lots of detail!
All nice shots, James...my fav is #2 and #4 best. Good poses on those two...I have a problem with #1 -- the backdrop...those circles just do not work for me at all. #2 looks best for background apart from other things like sharpness and focus, etc. and #4 for the colour. You did that very well indeed. Well done.
My take is - lovely + lovely + lovely + lovely. Excellent patience to get the background and excellent pp.
Minor quibble about #1 - focus on the eye seems to be off but could be my old eyes.
Nicely done.
Thanks all. I think my auto focus may have grabbed the chest of the bird.
Really great takes, James I like them very much. May I ask how far away you are with 400mm?
Erwin
Beautiful captures, love the details , so sharp along with great color. They did an excellent job of posing for you and you did the rest.
I like your photography, labeling of the birds and I really appreciate your non-intrusive © and mark. Good stuff!
Lovely shots with very nice feather detail. So, it is Tennessee where my feathered friends like to spend the winter. I always wonder where they go off to. I won't see these little guys again until late spring.
Well done James,4 Belters....
Very nice James
Must be seen in LyteBox full size to be fully appreciated.
Cheers, Dave
All absolutely gorgeous! My favourites are the 1st (I like the bokeh/circles) and the 3rd for the lighting.
These are excellent shots, James. I really can't pick a favorite.
Very nice. Love the colours.
Erwin I was approximately 9-12 ft. away. (a carefully measured distance according to my minimum focusing distance of my 400 mm.
Excellent set, James. Detail in the second one is just crazy. Nicely done.
