Does anyone know of any good places in Kelowna where you can spot some wildlife? I was thinking along the lines of deer, bear, goat stuff like that.

Sorry, I've never been to Kelowna; but town dumps tend to be real "bear magnets". Check with the local landfill operators and see what their experience is.

If you are willing to go a bit away from Kelowna. Try Westside road for deer. Further afield: Vaseaux lake for California bighorn and waterfowl, Keremeos to Princeton for Mountain Goat and, I hear, Okanagan Mountain Park for rattlesnakes (!) now that the vegetation/rodent population is coming back well since the fire several years ago
In addition to Trevor's suggestions you could try Knox Mountain for coyotes. I walked the trail to Paul's Tomb everyday for many years and you could pretty much count on them watching you, even if you didn't always see them. Lots of deer as well.
