These made me laugh....thanks for the morning smiles. Now I am wondering how long you stay away from home when you took these shots...

Izzie I am glad it made you smile, I hesitated to post it but could not resist The first day I thought, wow that was odd, but when it happened again the next day I just had to share. I try to shoot at least 1 hr. a day especially since getting my new camera. I usually drop off my son off at school and then go out to shoot.

Well captured behavior of the bird(s). Not knowing the "texan" osprey I like to ask: do they regularly fly off after "unloading"?

Yes, I was wondering that too?

Is it "Ruffle, Crap, Fly" or "Crap, Ruffle, Fly"?

They are funny, I have only been watching them for 4 days now. He made a funny face (tongue out )prior to relieving himself but did not fly away immediately. I have noticed that they do what I can only describe as a "cry" before they fly off. It has been helpful in capturing the departure as it gives me a warning. They will perch for hours at a time so it cuts down on my wait time
