    Very nice, perhaps a few seconds more getting the gentleman more into the shot, but then you would have probably missed the woman's expression with is very charming.

    Yeah this one bothered me as I couldn't decide if the lack of a head devalued the image. But (and as you point out) it was the woman's expression that makes it. For what it's worth, I kind of see the scene as this older woman, walking out toward the end of her life, while the younger guy is just beginning to walk into his. Maybe a bit of a stretch but it's how this image works for me.

    Both of you are correct in your assessment even if you did not plan this shot. I too like the expression of the woman's face. This reminds of some times when my young stepson comes into the room and I am going to the kitchen, how tall and lanky kids are nowadays. I am not this old yet as your picture but I can feel the age of this woman as she looks at the young man...a meeting of the coming life both ways.
