I have just the opposite "problem" two shoots on the same day about thirty miles apart.
Luckily, one shoot is in the morning and the other is in the afternoon.
I "THINK" that if my energy holds up (I'm 74 and a half) I will be able to manage both shoots....
The first shoot is at a Hawk sanctuary. I attended the "Hawkwatch" a couple of years ago and went light, carrying only a single camera and my 300mm f/4L IS lens. I didn't realize how close to the presentations that I would be. This time, I will bring both my 7D cameras with 17-55mm and 70-200mm lenses. I'll also bring my 300mm...

The second event is the Vietnamese TET New Year Celebration. I have been wanting to photograph this for several years but other requirements always seemed to get in the way. I plan to use my standard combination of 17-55mm and 70-200mm lenses. These two lenses have suited my photo style all over the world. I will also bring my 12-24mm f/4 Tokina.

I'll also bring my travel tripod, in case my energy hold up long enough to shoot some night scenes.
Unfortunately, both of these events are in the same direction away from my house so I can't drop by home for a mid-day nap without backtracking on my travels. Looks like I'll be drinking some energy drinks throughout the day
I could attend Hawkwatch on another day but, I don't often have Saturdays free from my dog rescue needs... I could attend the Tet celebration on Friday or Sunday but, those days are booked with rescue business.
