Love the pose and the composition and the little one looking over mum's(?) back. The light looks like t was quite harsh because the highlights are a bit blown out. Nice shot.

I think the effect would work better if the giraffes' weren't in the shade. I like the look as it makes the light look intense in the foreground.

Nice shot! The look they are giving you is like "yes, can we help you?". I envy your ability to get to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. The zoo I fear is the closest I will come....

Now that's what you call eye contact. Nicely composed and an interesting choice for handling the harsh lighting. It works. Well done.

I must admit that I raised an eyebrow when I saw the title but it works Andre. Nice image.

The title matches the photo, very high key as for my taste , but love the composition of your long neck friends .

Absolutely gorgeous! The way the giraffes are positioned in such a beautiful setting with all of them looking at you is truly special. I adore high-key images, and this one is extra special.

    Thanks,

The little one is looking over big brother's back. These are all young ones.

It was shot an hour and twelve minutes after sunrise.

    Thank you, Barbara.

It is indeed a privilege to see them like this in their natural habitat.

It is cheap, for you people, to come to SA. Multiply your dollar by 11 and you got a lot of money for a very nice trip.

    Thank you Dan.

They were all curious about the "click" sound of the camera. Looking at me as if they were asking "what is that"?

    Thanks Christina.

To be honest, I am not very fond of HK but sometimes it just works.
