100% agree ( point taken) in fact last year I made the point that I never ever ever used to list my gear as I thought it showing off, some listed everything down to the finest 10p item, I said "Do people need to list their gear, is it considered showing off and could upset people who can not afford such gear"

I was told "so what", if people want to comment on what they have it is their right............................

Though I do agree with you

My tripod rolls around in the boot (Manfrotto XPROB something - no idea what I paid for it ) or over my shoulder when I'm out using it. With my camera bag (no idea what I paid for that either) over my other shoulder I have no more room for bags (whatever they cost) and as I can't remember ever taking two tripods out with me at the same time, I personally can't see the point.

This said, the cricket bat bag seems a good idea

See that is what I can't understand, just because some people cannot understand why other people do what they do they say "can't see the point", I earn my living from photography, I may when I arrive need to place two or more cameras on mounts, one shooting vid the other stills, I may and others may, want to mount a microphone on one and vid on another, I have used three for flash triggered via slaves so you need to remember there are many different photographers doing many different things,

After all some may see no need for more than one camera !
