I did this in B&W also, which do you think looks best?

Re: Paisly
lovely subject, I like the colour version as the skin tones are great, but the b & W makes a stronger focus of the childs right eye making the image more 'connecting' with me so I would have to say the B & W is the better one for me

Love to work with Mono so this is my favourite. Love the intensity of the stare, great image xxxx

Re: Paisly
Beautiful! I like it either way, but I personally love seeing those bright blue eyes, so I'd have to say prefer the color version... May I ask what you used as light source for this shot? Just out of curiosity...

Re: Paisly
Wow. Natural light can be so beautiful! Can't get over those eyes... They remind me of my son's eyes: so blue! Thanks for responding to my question.

Re: Paisly
Mark, IMHO, you should increase your depth of field next time as one eye is OOF.
It is a stunning image.

Re: Paisly
I would also like to see both eyes in focus. The narrow DOF is often a natural result of shooting available light, hand holding at a wide aperture. I would prefer to increase the ISO a bit to get an aperture providing a bit more DOF. Any resultant noise could be taken care of in post processing...
For some reason my EXIF program will only show the exposure parameters with certain images.
