Thoughts on new Apple's Photo's
So I was a user of Aperture so what is everyones thoughts on new Apples'Photos? I've been around the forums and a lot are going with lightroom but I'm a bit confused because they are bragging about ost processing of Lightroom and i was of the thinking that nothing could touch Photoshop. I just want a good app to catalogue my thousands of images.

Re: Thoughts on new Apple's Photo's
James - Lightroom's Develop module is identical to Photoshop's Adobe Camera RAW, so other than the cataloging function that Lightroom provides, using one or the other as a RAW converter is necessary, as Photoshop does not work on RAW files per se.
I can't comment on any of the Apple software as I use Adobe Bridge / Camera RAW / Photoshop on both Apple and PC platforms. Aperture's functionality was similar to Lightroom, and from what I can tell, Apple saw no reason to compete with Adobe on products that had similar functionality.
