Still life photography is one of the only genres that allow total control of the output, as lighting isI'm not a lover of still life
the only experimental factor. If you shoot tethered, you get real time information on that lighting
scenario and what changes with the moving of that lighting a few degrees to and fro, without going
thru the hassle of taking the shot>uploading it>evaluating>changing lighting, ad nauseam.
Your subject matters not a wit...it's all about the light. Later choose a pretty subject.
I think it's a nice shot. The shadows at the top right corner are a bit dark perhaps, but overall I like it.
I think its a nice shot, it just seems to lack a tiny bit of detail for me. It all seems a bit too smooth.

In the cities here, people love these snowdrops. In the country areas, where they infest pasture areas, they are considered a pest. Regardless, I think they are pretty.
I, too, am a hater of still life because I am not good at it. This image is a good one, however why do we
have to use a black background? It is just a thought but, I do believe a valid one. That is only my opinion.

I'm not good at...
That statement behooves us to ask ourselves "why" as it generally it revolves around not learning
about the subject in question.
The black background...what would be a more appropriate color...why?
Are you a journalist or an artist?
