I think the main elements of this composition are the two rock formations, they give good leading lines and nice contrast of textures. The colors are a bit drab, some visible in the sky but none really within the rest of the composition. I'm almost leaning towards suggesting cloning out the bird; but in doing so would remove the only point of interest created by the leading lines. Perhaps some additional post processing is in order. Nice effort.
I find this is a great composition. The rocks in the left foreground complement the headland at the right. The sea seems to have a colour cast, but I am sure that this is real and part of the picture.
I am intrigued by the bird. It looks more like a bird of prey (a buzzard?) than the expected seagull. Do you know what it was (or at least, was it brown or white)?
