And that she does!
This is a nicely timed image and a lovely angle. Young lady is niceley bridged. No pinkies sticking out. The horse is happy and seems willing.
Not sure what your pp skills are, but could you recover some highlights in the sky? I am betting the information is there. Picture could also do with a wee bit of horizon straightening clockwise.
Is the horse a dark buckskin? He's got the dark points like one.
Again, Nice action shot.
Marie
Nice shot.
Thanks nearly neighbor Dean!
Well done..Belter![]()
Marie, I am not at all familiar with horses, other than I love them. I was at a horse event to take pictures of my cousins daughter who is very good in the jumper ring. I took several what she deemed good shots but between the dark indoor arena and overcast skys I was not too happy with the results, as they were very noisy due to having to use a high ISO. I decided to run to the outside rings and take a few shots while there was a break in the action. I have no idea who this girl she just happened to be the one riding when I was out there.Suppose I should have asked and shared.
You did a nice job capturing the action and you must have had a high enough shutter speed so there is no motion blur.
Do you like it better, straightened a bit? Sometimes that decision is strictly up to the photographer.
Marie
I think the edited version is best as not only does the sky have more colour detail, so does your riders face.
That's really an excellent shot, Barbara. The sky does look better in the edited version. Nicely done.
Indeed, a true belter! I also prefer the edited version for the soft sky seen.
Good shot, Barbara. I suspect that girl would like to have your photo hanging on her bedroom wall.
Thanks, Kaye,Dan and Christina!
What a wonderful shot, Barbara...the edit is very nicely done...
