I didn't do too much with the leaf. I bumped up the vibrance a tad. Mostly it was just correcting the exposure and adding a bit of contrast.

Matt, when maple leaves, especially those of the sugar maple turn colours in the fall, they can go through an extremely interesting transition of colours. For example in this shot (likely a SOOC jpeg), of maple leaves still on the tree that are transitioning from green through yellow to a brilliant red.
