Beautiful child. Slightly soft. Was that intentional?

    Hi Mark!

Beautiful young lady you have here.

What would you think of this…

    Avery, C&C welcome please

    Reason:

Get the eyes on the top third or higher. Most important reason.
It will also lose the OoF hair wad on the top which is one of the brightest areas of the photo and draws the eye.
Bring her beautiful smile and eyes right up to us.
Give those some more sparkle. (some local sharpening)

Just a Theory Mark! She is a stone cutie!

Great B&W. The soft look works. I do not think sharpening would work but that is
    only my opinion.

My first thoughts were for a crop, then I saw Terry has recommended exactly what I was thinking.

You might get away with fractionally less in the way of cropping, if you preferred a little more space.

Shutter speed was 1/320 iso 200. Didnt have anything in mind when I took the shots other than she was sitting in front of the window with the soft light on her and she wont sit for long so I just took a few shots while she stayed in one place for a bit! lol
