Finally New Gear
I just purchased a refurbished Zuiko lenses for my Olympus E-620 70-300mm f/4-5.6 , I then waited for a good deal on the Nikon D7100 along with 18-!40mm and the 55-300mm. I really considered the 18-300 but it did not fit into my budget. I did purchase flash for my Olympus, FL-600R . I still have allocated money for a decent macro lense, probably a prime and a light meter with some extra lighting needs for studio shooting. This is what happens while on workmen's comp for 4 moths till now and I have two to three more months to go before I can return to full duty. I hope my choices will serve me well. I thank those that gave me input and hope to return the deed.I am close to a military wholesaler that is going to give me a chance to be involved in their next catalog which is over 500 pages. I do fear that this could be out of my league, but I will be working with others,A great opportunity to learn for me. I have also landed a job shooting a master carpenter's work for his web site. He has done much work for some well known politicians and upper end pieces that are extraordinary. I will of course share these projects as to get C&C and advice.

Oh well! Enjoy your semi-retirement for the time being...there is nothing like photography and the CiC forum to pass your time and learn. Congrats on your gear...
