Thought I would clean my hard drive

It's a rather clinical looking composition and the foreground OOF items are distracting. To me it simply conveys a camera in bits, a snapshot taken for record purposes and not not 'mechanical engineering'.

There's some great mechanical linkages in there that you could explore more closely.
