    Sahara Desert

The Khara Desert pictures posted by vaez prompted me to find some of my pictures taken in the Sahara. This was taken near Zagora in South Morocco. It is the only place in Morocco where you really see the sand desert.

This was taken on film around Christmas 1971. C&C welcome.

Nice shot, I'd consider cropping/cloning the greenery out and perhaps a tiny bit off the sky?

I would agree with cropping off some sky. The greenery would have to be moot. The amount of greenery in the sand desert at Zagora was very sparse. I think that the pic does show this sparseness. However, compositionally, you are probably right.

It's lovely that that scene will not have changed much in the 40ish years.

This really brings back great memories. I visited the Sahara near Merzourga, which is just a little northwest of Zagora and is the closest village to Zagora that is on the edge of the sandy desert.
