Nice touch, the flecks of light.
With #2 the person would normally be considered to be too close to the frame edge; but in this case the main subject is the shadow and it is perfectly placed.
Thanks Geoff.
Oft times I find my shadow is more noble and upright than myself.
the great things about shooting into the sun are the halos and the details found in the shadows
A big WOW for the second one! Perhaps the most traditional image I've seen coming from you.
My fav is #2 in this series, Sharon...and +1 to Geoff's comment.
Sharon, as usually I like them all, but my favorite is the third one..........
Griddi........
Hi Sharon. Great images...the first two really work for me..very much my style too. Also good processing...was this a preset your using? Kev
Good set, Sharon, you have a great eye. I find the 3rd one particularly poignant. Love your processing.
Greg and Griddi...the third one is perhaps not the best , technically...but it is my favourite because of the poignancy. The juxstaposition of the fit and energetic young man heading out into his life and the elderly lady struggling across the street into the path of the waste bins ....
Kev...I was using Raw+ Hi-contrast on my Ricoh GR. It decided to re-set itself and so what I got was 'Hi- contrast' only....this peeved me majorly...but, at the end of the day i was happy with the results.
Izzie...thanks.
