Spotted this little guy and his mother in the Kruger. It looks like his face is covered in scars so I'm guessing he may have survived a Lion attack.

a good picture of the lucky little, having escaped a predator attack. I personally would prefer a wider view (not to cut parts of the animals on left, right and top). And selectively dodge the very bright "circles" in the upper left corner.

Erwin, I purposefully cropped the Image this tight to add to the story, I felt it draws you more into the face of the foal and showes you the "story" better.

If I might insist: I see your point, but then I would have cropped even "tighter" to make stand out the scars of the recovered wounded foal.
