It is with great sadness that the scenery in picture four has now changed. You will notice four tree's standing in the distance by the gasworks.. I came on them this morning and they are now gone!
The council sawed them up yesterday because apparently they had all gone rotten in the middle. They have been their for well over 100 years, and now they have all died. I couldn't believe it! How things change and I am so glad I photographed them before their demise. I will miss them and can see how they looked in my mind, in another dimension they are still standing dancing in the wind, they were plane tree's and the council are planting different tree's. I will miss them dearly.
