    Friendly talk

A little bit out of my usual work this time using the Lumix GX7.

For the moment I own only the 20mm f/1.7 but I would like to get an Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8

Nice capture, will the Zuiko work on the Lumix, I know the Lumix lens works on the Olympus Pen?

Perhaps I made myself misunderstand or I am not completely understanding you...
The camera is the M4/3 Lumix GX7 and the lens is a simple 20mm 1:1.7 ASPH from Lumix.
I would like to buy some time soon, the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8
Olympus lenses work in Panasonic bodies. As far as I know both constructors created the M4/3 in 2005.
When I was in US I spent some time with the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO
I found it to be very good but - perhaps - I rather own a 35mm prime onstead. I have to consider the idea.

No misunderstanding, just wondered if the lens/camera combo was compatible. I own the Olympus Pen camera which uses the Zuiko lenses, but the Lumix lens was also compatible without the need of an adapter. There have been so many upgrades since I purchased my Pen EPL-1 and just looking at options in case I upgrade.

    nice image.......

I owned some years ago the Panasonic G1, G2, and added several lenses, then when the Olympus E-M5 came out, I bought the camera ( sold the G1 and G2 ) but keep all the lenses I, as I can use them without any problems on the E-M5........
