North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona

I visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona, during a fall trip to Utah and Arizona.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Forest Service was doing a controlled burn on the South Rim to prevent/limit future wildfires.

The result was a heavy blue haze that obscured the Canyon view. I made the best of a bad situation by placing foreground objects as my principle subjects with the Canyon views only as a background.

It's always something when vacationing, I understand that the canyon floors can be very dangerous with flash flooding and snakes. One of the reasons I chose to view the Grand Canyon from the rim.
