Craig Y Nos Country Park Lake (Series)

Inspired by the 'reflections' thread by Rita, I decided to pop up to Craig Y Nos Country Park to take a few shots. The sun was going down fast so I treated it more as a recon trip and plan to get back up there over the weekend.

Anyway here are some of the shots, as always C&C welcomed:

Nice set must say #5 is my favorite. It's as if the brown duck is being snubbed by the mallards!

Hi Matt. When I saw your images yesterday, I couldn't comment immediately because the PP work in those images wasn't your usual way and I'm used to seeing your images with strong colors and contrast.

Those above are very nice and natural looking photos though, they reflect the tranquility very well. #2 is my favourite with colors and composition.

Thanks Binnur, I agree it is not my normal style of PP, it didn't seem to fit/work for these images so I kept it simple. I often go back and redo the PP on images though somewhere down the line

#3 is my favorite, albeit I love the duck shots too, but the water in #3 seems so tranquil and clean.

I hope you get time to go back with a little more interesting lighting. Good job Matt.

Very pleasing and peaceful atmosphere; you could very well capture the mood the place conveys...
