    Matt,

Thanks for the comments. I tried in B & W but didn't like the tone of the sky, I'm considering other alterations to make sky less gray.

Very nice, but now this one, I am wondering about a crop... But from the left, or a clone, just to get rid of the curly bits, for me they distract, rather then add, if I can say.

    Kay,

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Are you referring to the portion hanging from the line?

Very artistic! I especially adore the framing to include the little birds on the line.

    Bird on a Wire.

Higher ISO's can play havoc with B&W conversions. All sorts of noise shows up. it is still pretty much a monotone.

I like the image and concept.

    Hi Marie,

I tried a mono version and the sky just became very bland, I think if I can somehow brighten or change the level of gray it might work.

John, I absolutely love this pic. There's a sense of foreboding, something ominous, yet oddly, a feeling of serenity; and the one lone crow...to me it has a strong psychological impact.

Yes, to me not being able to be sure if it's extra wire, or a small bird, seems to detract from the overall impact of the image.
