    Minnie

My first image post. Seen in my garden over a number of months, he must be very old indeed!

    Nearly blind and certainly deaf...

I love it, My only gripe is the out of focus party at the front left of the image but i suppose there was nothing you could do about that in order to achieve a nice DOF. Other than that its a great image.

To me the OOF in front and the depth of field frame the little guy nicely.

Nice shot. That is some super flat DOF. What were you shooting with? Agree with the comments about the OOF foreground at left. Simply darkening the bright portion of it would help tremendously. Same with the bit at upper right of frame.

Blind and deaf. Poor little guy. Surely you've given over to feeding him, rodent or not? I used to hunt/fish/trap for a living in my youth. As I age I find myself growing so soft hearted that even if we had rats in our house I think I'd have to use a live trap and move them elsewhere.

    I love this image...

I see the point about the OOF bit on the left, but I quite like it, it is partly mirrored on the right and for me somehow adds to the quality of the main subject, Minnie

Possibly worth trying a crop from the left side to produce a 4 x 5 ratio image?

Very nice, I would try rotating it 90 degrees anticlockwise and add a vignette.

Excellent details on the little mouse. I like the softness of the focus and colors surrounding it.
