    Woods spirit

A storm broke the limbs of a mesquite tree and this image appears at sunset.
    C&C welcome.

I look at it and want it to become something. I almost wish the main part of the timber were darker and made a more distinguishable shape as if the lovely background deserved it.

It would be nice if we could see more detail in the wood, its hard to tell whats in focus or not.

The golden background is really great; but the wood appears out of focus , a bit?

Yes, one of those situations where more focus depth (narrower aperture possible?) and a bit of flash could have considerably helped. Certainly a lot of potential in the scene.

Hi Dean. Very nice golden BG. I agree with other members about the focus issue.

Im with texas dave on this.

Another edit to totally silhouette the broken branch would really make this pop in my opinion. The warm colour of the background is really nice job.
