Love the image, love the 'finish, I keep going back to look at it again, I could see that really big in a gallery and sit down to take some time enjoying it, it asks so many questions and lets you fill in the answers to suit your mood. This is where photography really is 'Art' in every sense.

    Dear Sharon.

Nice work. Other than flickr, do you have your images in a gallery?

    Thank you Marie.

No, I don't as yet but am currently in discussion with a printer to produce high quality limited edition sets of some of my images.

I have also been invited to display/sell my images via a small but popular bistro/gallery in the city.

I really love your work. Its extremely artsy and I mean that as a complement. I cant say anything to criticise as your photos are so well composed and easy on the eye. lovely diagonal line as well.

John, it is a much smoother image and thank you for working on it....the eye flows through he shot much more easily in your rendition.

However...I kinda wanted the viewer to feel 'jittery and unsure'...to keep checking for the unexpected.in the highlights and shadows. i wanted to convey an 'ambiguity'

I hope that makes some kind of sense to someone.

    makes sense to me.

That's exactly how I perceive the image and is one reason why I voted so strongly to leave everything as is. This is not the kind of style that I want my eye to be unquestionably led to a particular area of the image as is understandably desired in more traditional photography. Also, reducing the brightness of those three areas removes edginess for me that is so appropriate in this style.
