What great photos in the past week! They are all so smile-worthy

She is just as cute as she looks but, she rules my daughter's household. Annie was a bit less than a year old when I shot this portrait one Christmas Season. We used to breed and show Maltese but notw we only do Maltese rescue. My daughter fell in love with the picture and when I visited her, I brought her Annie as a gift. They are inseparable. Wow! What a cutie, and a beautiful shot.
Cheers,

Hi, Peter;
Tell us the truth: he was bored with the photo session.
Nice shot: way to catch the moment.
Cheers,
Rick
What a wonderful photograph of the puppy. Everything is so crisp! Sweet expression.
Willie looks like he is having a great laugh, likely at the expense of the cows! There are quite a few Cairn terriers over here (Nova Scotia). They seem like very intelligent and friendly pups.

Rick, she is beautiful and knows it What a great collar.
At the stable where I board the horse, there is a little kitty named Maddie with similar colouring. She is quite submissive, though, so spends the days outside and the nights in the house where the alpha kitty (Topaz) can't boss her around.

Another happy, smiling pup. Just starting to show her age, isn't she? Her eyes are still bright, though Very nice photo for the owners.

Nice shot, Chriss: she looks like a Disney dog - I'm expecting her to say something.
Cheers,
Rick
Thanks, Myra.
Nice shots of Maddie and Topaz. The one of Maddie is classic cat: full focus.
We've read that the coloring is properly called "tortoise and white," since a true calico has the white intermixed with the brown and black. But we always call her calico. Dave has one, too, I've seen here: Socks.
Cheers,
Rick
For something a bit different in the pet line This is Apollo the Alpaca. I was trying to get a snapshot of his new half brother the other evening when he decided to mug the camera, which was less than two feet away from his face when this was taken. He is one inquisitive fellow!

Mack is my 'bitsa' moggy. I got Mack as a kitten from a refuge for strays.
He is now 4 years old, 7.8 kilos and almost a metre long (38 inch to be exact) from nose to tail. He looks like he gives out real attitude but sadly if not for humans he would not survive. He lives on a farm and I am not sure he has caught anything but a cold and we are approaching a mouse plague.
Any suggestions welcome.
Handsome Mack must be a pacifist Peter, what is a "bitsa"? I've figured out that moggy is a cat, but the other word has me puzzled. Bitsy means small, but Mack is not a small kitty!
