    Hi John. Those are really nice. It would be nice to see their feet in #1 though and #3 might look better in color as the image looks complicated because of the similar tones.

    Thanks for the comments. I did get a few full body shots but was working with prime lens only to handle the lowlight conditions. The skaters were slow close I didn't have a chance to re-compose.

    I know what you mean about the prime lens! - it is somewhat limiting, but at the same time liberating, I often feel there is so much happening so quickly, not trying to zoom in and out as well as catch the action in focus, when working at very wide apertures & moving targets is quite restful!
    I do like 2 and 3, I agree with Binnur about the ankle chop, on #1 though.
