While I was at Scotland I wanted to get a nice sunset but I was struggling with the light and I saw this interesting looking tree so I had a go at this. Any thoughts?

I didn't think of trying a mono conversion for this. Ill have a look and see what might happen. Thanks flashback

You forgot to mention knowing how to take full advantage of the scene. Otherwise, being in the right place at the right time would have been insufficient.

For this style of composition, I would have preferred a cloudless sky. Even so, I understand the limitations of capturing scenery while traveling.
