    Forest in Snow

This shot is from the gorge around Sherman Falls. I like the dark trees and shadows against the snow.

This is a nice shot Joe, I can't decide whether the shot would be better if you clone out the people?

Nice image. I would clone the people and the sign at the front.

Indeed a very nice image. I adore the layers of the trees with all the shadows. I would leave the gentleman for the sense of perspective and wonder, but clone out the other person seen only partially, and perhaps the sign, too.

Thanks Matt. I decided to keep them for scale.

I kept the people as they gave scale to the shot. The sign I made a mess of the clone and decided to leave it. I'll have another go at it.

    Such a nice scene!

Ideally, you have a shot of the people in a more open spot with neither of them obscured by a tree. As it is, both people are partly obscured. Timing is everything when photographing people walking through a scene.

I would eliminate both the sign and the bridge. The bridge offers the only strong horizontal lines and they conflict with the strong vertical lines, so I feel stronger about the bridge than the sign.

Thanks Christina. I agree. I'll clone out the partial person.

Thanks Mike. I did not see that. ( the bridge as horizontal lines). I will try cloning the bridge out.
