I've just printed it at 16" (406mm) x 9" (229mm) onto Permajet Delta Matt Fibre Base 271 grams paper. Even though I say it myself, it looks pretty good.

We're having a little local art exhibition in our village later in the year and I'll have about 6 prints in it. I'm focusing on local landscapes that all the folks in our village who attend will recognise. This one will definitely be amongst them. It's where we all go when there are burials in our community.

What?! You have only printed it? You haven't already matted it, framed it, hung it, and added a spotlight to showcase it?

No, but tomorrow I'm going to meet the husband of a former colleague, who has just started up his own framing business, along with building a studio and gallery space. He is keen to exhibit my images. So, watch this space ... as they say!

I like it very much, I am not going to comment on the sharpness etc as that has been covered, except to say in IT there is 'cutting edge' tech and then there is 'bleeding edge' tech its what becomes cutting edge later when others are able to produce it. This from a sharpness point is clearly 'bleeding edge'

The image fascinates me, the curve of the road against the sharp formal straight lines of the cemetery against the natural shapes of the landscape - we as man impose our mark on the land to say 'we are here' and this image highlights that. A masterly capture of man in the landscape.
