    Equine Portrait

I was out trying to get an interesting picture of this old milking shed when the horse came by.

Please let me know what you think about it.

Tony.... what do you mean the horse photobombed your shot? It is a beautiful horse. Forgive him for doing so...without him there, your shot would have been lifeless, don't you think? i think you should thank the horse...go on...be a nice fella...

Very nice image of a nice horse. I would add a little contrast and may be clarity to the image.

Great portrait of a fine horse Tony. Needs to be looked at full size to fully appreciate.

    Thanks for all the comments.

Binnur I tried your suggestions and they made a definite improvement. Thanks.

Izzie, I stopped horse riding when I was about 12, a very long time ago, but I still feel affection for them. I wanted to give the horse a hug but I don't think the rider would have approved.

Hi Tony. I love horses, having two of my own. The horse you captured is lovely; you really caught the kind expression in his/her eye. I do find the placement of the barn right behind the horses head a bit distracting, especially the beam that's coming out of the back of the right ear.

A horse lover myself, this is now a cracker shot, the tones of the building match in so well.

Yes!! I love this one better, Tony -- if this is not a horse, I will say it is crisp. Really ... beautiful shot befitting a beautiful horse. Excellent job.

    Thanks again Izzie and Kay.

The shed is a prominent building in the district, regarded as iconic really, and recognisable by anyone who lives around here and therefore has greater significance as a background. It used to be part of a dairy.
