Talking about my girl...my girl..!!!

This is my little girl...just one of the hundreds I had taken of her on her birthday week. She turned 2 years of age last week..light here is wrong as it was overhead by the kitchen bench but I think this is passable enough. I just did a crop on this and enhanced via Perfect Suite on an uncalibrated laptop. Now that I am in my desktop, I can do better...

Many kids I know hate being a playpen, but not this little one...she asked to be put in it with her tablet (yup! a typical generation growing up with a tablet girl) for praying, eating meals and drawing. But she is on a timer when it comes to viewing her playschool on her tablet. The family is more family oriented towards Christian values and play...

Thanks for looking and commenting, Grahame...yes I am back here in the refrigeration section of the US Central. I have to cut my stay short for personal reasons. The expressions in her face on all the shots that I got of her are all interesting...she is a pretty girl all right, but then of course I am biased ... she is my only grandchild.

Yes...she is my avatar, a few months younger then...she has grown up quite a bit and more talkative...

No...Donna, not spoiled at all. I am glad she is being brought up the way she is right now. She doesn't get off too easy when she do something "rude" as we term it for her. She has to say "I am sorry, Mama (or whoever) I won't do it again." Or if she misbehaves, there is Mr. Cot who is lonely for her company with her toys there. If she even dares throw her food on the floor, she has Mr. Cane who lives under the stairs. But that child is like any other child too...she laughs, she plays, she pushes buttons on her tablet, she prays before she eat her meals...she is a happy child though I think at age 2 she is being given too much responsibility to act like an adult at times. As soon as I get better in a few days I intend to give my son and DIL a little bit of talking to...my son is the culprit annoying the child then asking for an apology from her. What I am more pleased about is that she has started speaking a few Mandarin terminology. She is a smart cookie for her age.
