Hi Barbara. I especially like the cropped one as the expression and the details can be seen better. What an expression
I have been around Grizzlies, Black bears, Killer whales, Grey whales, Pit Vipers, and Rebels/Freedom fighters but this guy scares me.
Pre historic looking little dudes aren't they. Nice sharp close up.
Ah, macro at its best
Good one Barbara, he looks pleased to see you.
Nicely captured.
The second one is nice and sharp. It makes you wonder just what it's thinking about you and your camera. Good job, Barbara!
WOW, great
As usual, great shot!
Nice shot Barbara, taken at 300mm I see so you didn't get too close
Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh hubba...hubba...babba...cumma, cumma a lil bit clossa...I like the 2nd one too Barbara...very sharp. I am particularly taken by the slit in his eyes...and immediately reminded of Rolf Harris song Never Smile at a Crocodile. No I am not talking about Rolf Harris, just his song about the crocodile...
Never smile at a crocodile
No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile
Don't be taken in by his welcome grin
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin

#2 is really nice... I love the smile and keep thinking about Captain Hook in the kids story, "Peter Pan".
BTW: I am a great fan of the Structure Slider of NIK Viveza 2. Structure is an ever so subtle way of increasing contrast and sharpening the image. In this try, I increased the structure to 35%.
